Madoux will release her new EP Anywhere on November 3rd through Polymoon Music. The Dutch alt-pop artist wrote the EP together with her band in the French Ardennes, Berlin and in the German mountain region of Odenwald. Anywhere was recorded at the Robot Studios in Ghent together with Belgian producer Pieterjan Coppejans (Eefje de Visser, Sylvie Kreusch). The master was done by Alex Gordon (Florence + The Machine, Raye) and Christian Wright (Mumford and Sons, Coldplay, Ben Howard).
Madoux makes dreamy alt-pop songs inspired by artists such as The War On Drugs, Fleetwood Mac, London Grammar and Oscar & the Wolf. The winner of the Limburgse Popprijs and opener of Pinkpop 2023 brings a mix of acoustic instruments and deep electronics layered with her characteristic, ethereal and enchanting vocals. On Anywhere, analog vintage synths provides a warm and lush band sound. The atmosphere is intimate and vulnerable, but at the same time it is also grand and compelling.
